Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide (DSIP) is a neuropeptide consisting of nine amino acids with the sequence Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu. This unique peptide was first isolated in 1977 from the brains of rabbits by Schoenenberger and Monnier. DSIP is an endogenous neuropeptide, naturally produced in the hypothalamus and other brain regions. The molecular formula of DSIP is C35H48N10O15 with a molecular weight of 848.81 Da.<\/p>\n

DSIP should be stored at temperatures between -20\u00b0C to -80\u00b0C in the original packaging, protected from light and moisture. In lyophilized form, the peptide is stable for at least 24 months under these conditions. For reconstitution, sterile bacteriostatic water or physiological saline solution is recommended. After reconstitution, the solution should be used within 48 hours when stored at 2-8\u00b0C, or can be frozen in aliquots at -20\u00b0C for longer storage up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to prevent peptide degradation.<\/p>\n
